Job summary

Providence Queen of the Valley Medical Center in Napa, CA, is seeking a Surgical Technician for a full-time role with 10-hour day shifts. The technician will scrub in the main operating room under the supervision of the OR RN Circulator and assist the medical and nursing staff throughout patient care in the OR.

Preferred candidates will have NBSTSA certification and BLS, with 5+ years of OR experience; a Surgical Technology program graduate is a plus.

Qualifications

• National Certified Surgical Technologist - National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting upon hire.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
• 5 years of experience as a Surgical Technician in a Main Operating Room.

Responsibilities

• Assist the medical and nursing staff in the care of the patient in the OR as the scrub person under the supervision of the OR RN Circulator.
• Support the Surgical Team in the Surgical Suites and other clinical areas.
