Qualifications

• 0–2 years of operating room surgical technician experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and maintains operating room for surgical cases with aseptic technique.
• Assists surgeon by passing instruments and supplies accurately.
• Handles instruments per guidelines and ensures sterilization and inspection.
• Performs sponge, needle, and instrument counts for patient safety.
• Assists in patient positioning and draping during procedures.
• Maintains physician preference cards and ensures supplies are available.
• Cleans, reprocesses, and sterilizes instruments following protocols.
• Restocks supplies and prepares rooms for subsequent cases.
