Job summary

Saratoga Medical Center is seeking three full-time Surgical Technicians to join the team at the San Diego Naval Medical Center. All shifts are daytime, Monday through Friday, 40 hours a week, with a competitive rate and benefits.

The role requires graduation from an accredited program, NBSTSA or TS-C certification (or military MOS), and at least 1 year of recent experience. BLS certification is required before start date.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an program accredited by the CAAHAP, ABHES or a formal military training program.
• Must be certified by the NBSTSA or certified as a Tech-in-Surgery (TS-C) from the NCCT or hold a military MOS certification as a Surgical Technician.
• Must have minimum 1 year experience working as a Surgical Tech within the past two years.
• BLS certification will be required prior to start date

Responsibilities

• Assist in surgical procedures as a Surgical Technician and maintain sterile environments.
• Support patient care and safety at San Diego Naval Medical Center during daytime shifts.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and infection control standards.
