HSHS Medical Group invites applications for a Surgical Technologist in Green Bay, WI. The position supports the Women & Infants services with intraoperative care, sterile field maintenance, and instrument handling.

The role includes part-time hours with rotating night shifts from 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM, every 3rd weekend and holiday, at St. Vincent's Green Bay Hospital. Requires CST or TS-C certification and BLS, with relevant surgical tech education or military training.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree in surgical technology preferred.
• Graduate from a recognized surgical technology program or military training required.
• Military documentation (DD214) to establish education.
• Illinois: high school diploma plus 3 years as Surgical Technologist in healthcare may be considered in lieu of education.
• 1 year surgery experience preferred.
• Certification: CST or TS-C required.
• BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Assist surgical team in intraoperative care.
• Prepare and monitor equipment and maintain sterile field.
• Pass instruments and assist with patient transfer/positioning.
• Perform a variety of surgical skills and procedures.
• Ensure patient safety and adherence to protocols.
