HUMBLE VASCULAR SURGICAL CENTER INC in Tracy, CA is seeking a Surgical Tech / SPD with at least 1 year of operating room experience, CPR certified, to support fast-paced ASC procedures under supervision of surgeons and nurses. The role involves preparing instruments, setting up OR, assisting during surgery, counting supplies, handling specimens, and helping clean and restock post-operation; CST preferred.
Candidates should have graduated from an accredited surgical technologist program and be
Surgical Technician with SPD experience or willingness to learn, needed for fast paced ASC. Must have minimum 1 year of experience. CPR required.
Surgical technologists, also called scrubs and surgical or operating room technicians, assist in surgical operations under the supervision of surgeons, registered nurses, or other surgical personnel. Surgical technologists are members of operating room teams, which most commonly include surgeons, anesthesiologists, and circulating nurses.

Requires sitting and standing associated with a normal office environment. Surgical technologists work in clean, well-lighted, cool environments. Must stand for long periods and remain alert during operations. At times may be exposed to communicable diseases and unpleasant sights, odors, and materials.
Normal busy office environment with much telephone work. Occasional evening and/ or weekend work.
