Job summary

Advocate Health seeks a Surgical Tech (Scrub Tech) in Macon, GA, for a full-time role. You will manage instrumentation, prepare sterile fields, and support the surgical team during procedures. Four 10-hour days with call, eligible for comprehensive benefits.

Minimum education includes a high school diploma or GED and completion of a surgical tech program. Certification must be attained within 12 months. No experience required, but one year is preferred.

• Completion of surgical tech program, either technical or military school.
• No experience required, but one year experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare surgical instrumentation for sterilization and assemble needed materials for procedures.
• Set up sterile field, instrumentation and equipment for surgical procedures.
• Anticipate surgeon needs and assist the nurse and anesthesia provider as needed.
• Maintain equipment and supplies for designated cases with flexibility to changing assignments.
