Job summary

A healthcare organization in Parkersburg is looking for a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide intraoperative care as a scrub person during surgeries. Candidates must have necessary licensure and be able to perform duties like maintaining sterile fields and assisting the surgical team. This position requires physical stamina and the ability to work in a surgical environment. Scheduled shifts are three 12-hour shifts a week.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse or equivalent experience.
• Certification in Basic Life Support within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist the surgical team during procedures.
• Maintain a sterile field and pass instruments to the team.
• Monitor inventory and maintain supplies.
