Manatee Memorial Hospital, part of Universal Health Services, in Bradenton, FL, is seeking a Surgical Technologist to support surgeons and the surgical team before, during, and after procedures. The role includes scrubbing, instrument maintenance, and ensuring a sterile, well-equipped operating room.

The ideal candidate holds CST and BLS certifications with at least 1 year of experience and is committed to high-quality patient care within a comprehensive hospital setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Vocational/Technical training diploma required.
• Accredited School of Technical Training required.
• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Minimum of 1 year Surgical Technologist experience required.

Responsibilities

Plays a vital role in supporting surgeons and the surgical team before, during, and after surgical procedures. Assist in providing quality care to the surgical patient. Responsible for the general maintenance of equipment, room and supplies under the direction of the Registered Nurse (RN). Performs scrub duties and assists in maintenance of instruments, equipment and supplies.

Demonstrates Service Excellence at all times. Other duties as assigned.
