Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be able to return to the hospital within 30 minutes of a Callback.
• Demonstrates strong integrity and a surgical conscience.
• Exceptional attention to detail and follow-through.
• Ability to stand for long periods and handle instruments.
• Ability to move quickly without sacrificing quality.
• Knowledge of sterilization and disinfection.
• LPN or Surgical Tech certification may be required; BLS readiness.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates knowledge of surgical procedures and instrumentation.
• Mantains current knowledge and certification.
• Manages department supplies and inventory.
• Performs duties to address patient and department needs.
• Assists in other duties to support operations.
• May stay on campus before, during, and after severe weather.
