Job summary

System Support in Centerville, OH seeks a skilled Surgical Technologist to support the operating room team. The ST performs scrub duties, maintains sterile supplies, and assists nurses, anesthesia staff, and surgeons during procedures.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, a diploma or associate degree in Surgical Technology, CPR current, with CST or NCCT certification preferred and 1–3 years of related experience anticipated.

Job description

The Surgical Technologist (ST) performs technical functions to assist in the delivery of patient care within the Operating Room or other areas of the hospital as assigned. The ST provides assistance to other health care providers such as Registered Nurses, anesthesia staff, surgeons and other professionals. The primary role of the ST is to perform in the ‘scrub’ role during surgical procedures and to ensure availability of all sterile supplies, instrumentation, and equipment.
