Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assists surgical team in the scrubbing role according to prescribed standards.
• Maintains sterile field and reports any breaks in aseptic technique.
• Passes instruments and medication to the surgeon.
• Assists with retracting tissue and suctioning as directed by the surgeon.
• Performs surgical counts with the RN according to policy.
