Sentara Health seeks a Surgical Technologist Student Extern at Sentara Albemarle Medical Center in Elizabeth City, NC. The role supports surgical services staff as the first scrub tech or second assistant, under supervision of a preceptor or surgeon.

Candidates must be in the 3rd or 4th semester of an accredited Surgical Technology program awarding an associate degree; no prior work experience is required. Base pay is competitive with full benefits in a day-shift, PRN schedule.

• Must be enrolled in the 3rd or 4th semester of a 4 semester program in an accredited school of surgical technology awarding an associate degree.
• No experience required

Responsabilidades

• Support surgical services staff and department manager in the role of first scrub tech or second assistant role.
• Works under direct supervision of preceptor or surgeon.
