Job summary

Piedmont Augusta Hospital is seeking a Surgical Technologist to join our operating room team in Augusta, GA. You will perform scrub duties, assist in patient care under RN supervision, and collaborate with licensed staff to ensure exceptional patient outcomes.

The role requires completion of a Surgical Technology program, a high school diploma or GED, and active certification as a Surgical Technologist, with BCLS on hire and CST preferred.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of Surgical Technology program required.
• Certification as a Surgical Technologist required.
• 3 years of surgical tech experience required.
• BCLS (Basic Life Support) required upon hire.
• CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs necessary duties in scrub role.
• Demonstrates higher level critical thinking and problem solving in patient care.
• Functions in partnership with licensed staff.
• Performs patient care duties for clients of various age groups under the direction of a registered nurse.
