Job summary

Cynet Health is seeking a Surgical Tech - Certified Surg Tech for a 13-week assignment on the Oregon Coast. Day shift, 12-hour shifts, with 2–3 years of acute care experience preferred.

The role supports physicians during invasive procedures, manages instruments, and maintains the sterile field to ensure patient safety. CPR/BLS certification is preferred and C-section experience is required. The facility is a 25-bed critical access center.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years of relevant acute care experience preferred.
• Must have C-section experience.
• CPR or BLS certification preferred.
• NBST or AST certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates the physician's performance of invasive, therapeutic, and diagnostic procedures.
• Handles the instruments, supplies, and equipment necessary during the surgical procedure.
• Ensures quality patient care during the operative procedure and maintains the sterile field.
• Verifies procedures and brings patient to the operating room.
• Prepares sterile instruments and drapes, assists during setup and turnover.
• Performs counts with the circulator prior to incision and before closure.
