Job summary

Cynet Health in Fargo, ND is seeking a Surgical Tech - Certified Surgical Tech for a 13-week assignment. You will assist surgeons in general surgery, ENT, orthopedics, and neuro cases in a busy hospital with 15+ ORs, including robotic procedures. Shifts are days, 10 hours, with 1–2 on-call days weekly; requires UAP Registry and BLS (AHA).

Must have 2+ years of General Surgery experience and familiarity with Zimmer/Depuy implants; experience in a Level 1 trauma setting is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a busy acute care facility with more than 15 operating rooms.
• Experience with robotic surgical procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform surgical and operating room duties as assigned according to established policies and procedures.
• Assist the surgeon and health care team in providing effective surgical care.
• Primary procedures include orthopedics, plastic surgery, and ENT for both pediatric and adult patients.
• Charting using EPIC system and maintaining sterile technique throughout procedures.

Description:Perform surgical and operating room duties as assigned according to established policies and procedures.Assist the surgeon and other health care team members in providing effective surgical care.Primary procedures include orthopedics, plastic surgery, and ENT for both pediatric and adult patients.Experience with Zimmer, Depuy, Biomet, and Striker total replacements is required.Candidates must have experience in a large hospital and level 1 trauma environment.The average number of cases per day is between 75 to 100.Candidates must be prepared to stay late as needed, this time will not be considered call back.On-call responsibilities are 1 to 2 days per week and every 3 to 4 weeks.Potential to float to other facilities as necessary.Scrub color will be provided.All clinicians must badge in and out of the facility.Candidates must not have worked in similar capacities within the last 6 months.Cancellation policy is in effect: cancellations may occur up to 12 hours every 13 weeks.Charting system used will be EPIC.
