Job summary

SCA Health in Minneapolis is hiring a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) for two operating rooms in an orthopedic-focused center. You will scrub, assist in sterile processing, and help maintain a safe, efficient OR environment to support patient care.

The ideal candidate has CST certification, completes BLS within 90 days, and a high school diploma or equivalent; prior OR experience is preferred and willingness to work in a fast-paced specialty setting.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent
• Graduate of a recognized Surgical Technologist Program
• Prior experience as a Surgical Technologist preferred
• Current CST certification preferred
• BLS within 90 days or current BLS certification

Responsibilities

• Scrub during operative procedures and assist in sterile processing as needed
• Prepare and decontaminate instruments for processing
• Assist with room turnover and post-procedure cleaning and setup

Responsibilities

We are actively hiring for a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST). 2 OR surgery center. All orthopedic cases. Need someone to scrub, and also help out in Sterile processing as needed.

Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) Responsibilities:

• Function as a scrub person during operative and other invasive procedures.
• Clean and prepare surgical instruments for processing and transport them to the decontamination areas.
• Assist with post procedure cleaning of the operative or other invasive procedure room and preparation of room for subsequent patients.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) Requirements:

• High SchoolGraduateorequivalente.
• GraduateofarecognizedandaccreditedSurgicalTechnologistProgram.
• Prior Experience as aSurgicalpreferred.
• Current Surgical Technologist certificationpreferred.
• Successful completion of BLS Course within 90 days of employment or documentation of current BLS certification.
