Job summary

SCA Health in Minnesota is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) to join our operating room team. You will function as a scrub person during operative and other invasive procedures, ensuring instruments are properly prepared and available for the team.

You will also assist with post-procedure cleaning of the room and preparation for the next patient, while adhering to our standards for patient safety and quality care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of Surgical Technologist Program.
• Prior experience as CST preferred.
• Current Surgical Technologist certification preferred.
• Successful completion of BLS within 90 days or proof of current BLS.

Responsibilities

• Function as a scrub person during operative and other invasive procedures.
• Clean and prepare surgical instruments for processing and transport to decontamination areas.
• Assist with post procedure cleaning of the operative or other invasive procedure room and prep for next patient.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

• Graduate of a recognized and accredited Surgical Technologist Program.
• Prior Experience as a Surgical Technologist preferred.
• Current Surgical Technologist certification preferred.
• Successful completion of BLS Course within 90 days of employment or documentation of current BLS certification.
