Job summary

LewisGale Medical Center in Salem, VA is seeking a Certified Cardiovascular Surgical Tech to scrub and support the OR team. You will maintain a sterile field, prepare instruments, and assist surgeons and staff to ensure safe, efficient cardiovascular surgeries.

The role requires strong knowledge of instrumentation and aseptic technique, plus ability to anticipate surgeon needs and coordinate with the circulating team. Evening shifts, full-time position with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Scrubs cases as it relates to the unit scope of care.
• Able to create and maintains a sterile field.
• Demonstrates knowledge of surgical anatomy and instrumentation/ procedures.

Responsibilities

• Organizes the operating room with instruments, supplies, and equipment.
• Maintains sterility and assists circulating staff during procedures.
