Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking a Surgical Technologist to perform scrub duties and support patient care under the direction of a registered nurse. This role requires completion of a surgical technology program and a high school diploma, plus BCLS certification at hire.

Candidates with CST certification are preferred; 3 years of experience may substitute for formal certification; a sign-on bonus may be available.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of Surgical Technology program required.
• Certification as Surgical Technologist required or 3 years of surgical tech experience required.
• BCLS certification required upon hire.
• CST certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs necessary duties in scrub role and supports patient care under the direction of a registered nurse.
• Works in partnership with licensed staff to ensure safe patient care.
• Performs patient care duties for clients of various age groups under supervision of a registered nurse.
