Job summary

Community Medical Centers is seeking a Surgical Technician to join our OR team in Fresno, CA. You will scrub in, assist surgeons, and help prepare and turnover operating rooms for a variety of complex cases including CABG and valve procedures.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or IEP Certificate required.
• Graduate of a recognized Surgical Technology Program required.
• BLS Certification required by American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Scrub in for operating room cases and assist the surgeon.
• Prepare and turnover operating rooms and support team development.
• Gain exposure to CABG, valve replacements, and other complex procedures.

Responsibilities

Are you ready to scrub in for a great career? We’re looking for Surgical Techs to join our growing and dynamic team! From preparing and turning over one of our operating rooms, to scrubbing in and assisting the surgeon, you will have constant room for development in your specialty as a member of our team.

You can expect to see the following types of cases: Coronary Artery Bypass Graft (CABG) on and off pump, Aortic Valve replacement(s) (both SAVR and TAVR), Mitral Valve Replacements and Repairs and many more.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, General Education Development (GED) or Completion of a CMC Approved Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Certificate required

• Graduate of a recognized Surgical Technology Program required

• BLS - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA) required
• One of the following is required:
  • CST - Certified Surgical Technologist
  • TS-C - Tech in Surgery - Certified
