Job summary

Mercy in Missouri is seeking a registered nurse to apply the nursing process, provide patient care, and maintain patient rights and confidentiality. The role evaluates care effectiveness and coordinates with other departments to ensure seamless patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduated from a school of nursing (ADN, Diploma, or BSN).
• Current RN license in hiring state or compact licensure.
• Basic Life Support certification or must complete within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS/ALS, NRP, ENPC, TNCC, CPHON, OCN, BLS, PALS, PEARS, STABLE, C-EFM or other unit-specific certifications may be required.

Responsibilities

• Uses the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers.
• Coordinates patient care with other departments.
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.
