Qualifications

Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Kansas Board of Nursing required.
Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 months (180 days) of hire or transfer.
BLS Provider obtained within 1 month (30 days) of hire or transfer.
Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing or required professional licensure.

Responsibilities

Execute scrub functions including selection and sterile handling of instrumentation.
Execute circulator functions including monitoring, documentation, and real-time communication.
Partner with surgeons to facilitate hemostasis, suturing, wound exposure, and patient positioning.
Oversee preparation and sterilization of rooms and surgical instruments.
Deliver nursing care with focus on safety, sterility, and clinical outcomes.
