Job summary

HCA Florida West Hospital is seeking a Surgical Services Aide to support life-changing surgeries by preparing operating rooms, safely transporting patients, and maintaining a clean, organized environment. Your role directly impacts patient safety and the high-quality care we provide.

Responsibilities include stocking supplies, transferring patients, cleaning between cases, monitoring equipment, and keeping the surgical suite safe.

Qualifications

• BLS certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• No experience required.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting with cleaning and turning over operating rooms between cases and at the end of the day to maintain a safe, sterile environment
• Monitoring equipment for potential issues and promptly reporting concerns to support smooth, safe surgical operations
• Maintaining cleanliness and safety throughout the surgical suite, including hallways, supply areas, and common spaces, to help protect every patient

What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• No experience required
