This position offers a Monday–Friday, 10-hour shift schedule with no weekends, no on-call, and holiday closures, plus comprehensive employer-paid benefits.

Qualifications

• Must have OR/ASC experience, with orthopedic surgery exposure as a requirement.
• Familiarity with surgical instruments and equipment is necessary.
• Ability to lift 25–40 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Assist surgeons in multidisciplinary procedures.
• Prepare and assemble supplies/equipment per physician cards.
• Support room turnovers, patient positioning, and next-day case prep.
• Inspect instruments for proper working condition.
• Maintain availability of instruments and supplies to avoid delays.
• Care for and sterilize instruments, supplies, and equipment as directed.
• Stock and store supplies in operating rooms.

Peninsula Surgery Center, LLC (PSC) is a free-standing surgery center with two operating rooms and one procedure room, open Monday through Friday. Job Responsibilities

• Assist surgeons in multidisciplinary procedures
• Assemble supplies and equipment for scheduled procedures according to physician's preference cards
• Aid in room turnovers, patient positioning, andpreparing forfollowing day cases
• Inspect equipment and instruments for proper working condition
• Maintain availability of instruments and supplies to avoid delays
• Correctly use, care for, and sterilize instruments, supplies, and equipment as directed
• Assist in storing and stocking supplies in the operating rooms

Required Education

• High school diploma or GED Certification
• Completion of an accredited surgical scrub technicianprogram

Qualifications and Skills

• Operating room Main or ASC experience, 2 years Ortho Experience REQUIRED
• Familiarity with surgical instruments and equipment
• Ability to sit/stand for long periods; ability to lift 25-40 lbs.
• Strong ethical and moral character references
• Ability to communicate effectively andpromote favorable facility image with physicians, patients, and general public
• Ability to be punctual, make decisions, and solve problems
• Orthopedic Surgery required
• Neurosurgery experience preferred
