The Spine and Orthopedic Center is seeking an experienced surgical technician (scrub tech) for full-time work in our Southern California ambulatory surgery centers. Must have spine procedure experience, CST certification preferred, and CPR card current.
Responsibilities include maintaining sterile field, passing instruments, prepping room, and assisting team during operations. Lifting up to 25 pounds may be required.
Carrillo Surgery Center has an immediate opening for a full-time surgical technician (scrub tech). The specialties include pain management, general orthopedics, and spine surgery. We are looking for applicants with previous ambulatory surgery center/OR experience to join our team. A surgical technician performs a variety of duties in the ambulatory surgery center under the direction of the physician, director of nursing/nursing staff, materials manager and supervisor.
We are looking for an experienced scrub technician who has the necessary knowledge and ability to ensure quality patient care during the operative procedure and are constantly on vigil for maintenance of the sterile field and cleanliness of the surgery center. Must have experience with spine. Applicants with CST certification or comparable certification are preferred. Must have current CPR certification card. May be expected to lift twenty-five pounds (or greater) without assistance. May be required to provide assistance in moving patients to and from gurneys, wheelchairs, etc.

Pay: $55.00 - $65.00 per hour

We have 4 offices throughout Southern California, including in Santa Barbara, Oxnard, Santa Maria, and Bakersfield. Treatment options include pain management, spinal injections, and, if necessary, minimally invasive surgeries such as outpatient microdiscectomy, spinal fusion, and arthroscopic surgery.
