Job summary

Mission Pet Health is seeking a Surgical Scrub Technician/Nurse for Bedrock Veterinary Specialists in Cornelius, NC. You will support the anesthesia team, prepare patients for procedures, maintain sterile fields, and scrub in for surgeries in a high-volume specialty setting.

Bedrock Veterinary Specialists is searching for a responsible, dedicated, hardworking and friendly Surgical Scrub Technician/ Nurse who is interested in being part of a fast-paced Veterinary Specialty Surgery Center.

This position will involve assisting our anesthesia team in preparing patients for surgery, opening sterile supplies and instruments in the O.R., positioning and draping of surgery patients, helping with pack prep duties (cleaning instruments, rewrapping surgical packs, etc.), and most importantly scrubbing in with our surgeons and assisting them in surgery.

If you are a scrub nurse in the human medical field, or have equivalent operating room experience who has been specifically trained in surgery and are looking to take the next step in your career, we want to meet you! This position calls for an experienced surgical scrub nurse to directly support our board-certified surgeons in the operating theater. You will be challenged and you will learn; your compassion, skills, and hard work will be valued and rewarded.
