Job summary

US Eye's Center for Sight ASC in Sarasota, FL is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our surgical team. The RN will provide high-quality patient care, collaborate with physicians, administer medications, and maintain accurate records in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate is a graduate of an accredited nursing program, holds an active Florida RN license with BCLS, and preferably ACLS. This full-time role offers comprehensive benefits and professional growth opportunities.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State.
Current BCLS certification.
ACLS certification preferred or basic EKG or Arrhythmia identification certification.

Responsibilities

Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide optimal patient care.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician.
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
Monitor and record patient vital signs.
Assist with surgical procedures as needed.
Educate patients and their families on post-operative care.
Ensure a safe and clean environment for patients.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
