Job summary

OSF HealthCare in Illinois is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Operating Room and Recovery team. You will provide high-level care coordination for a wide range of cases, collaborating with surgeons, anesthesiologists and the care team to ensure patient safety and outcomes.

Travel to Holy Family Medical Center in Monmouth, IL is required. The role offers a competitive hourly pay, a generous sign-on bonus, and frontloaded vacation/time-off for experienced nurses.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN in Illinois (or eligible).
• Current American Heart Association BLS required.
• Experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
• Proficient with EMR systems and basic MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Provide care coordination across the continuum with the care team.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists and other professionals.
• Support patients and families; maintain professional disposition.
• Contribute to high-quality, safe patient outcomes.

Pay range for this position is $37.05 - $54.54/hour. Actual pay is based on years of licensure. This is an Hourly position.

Overview

POSITION SUMMARY: Protects, promotes and restores health and wellness by practicing at the highest level of the Registered Nurse licensure; collaborating with providers and multidisciplinary care team members to provide care coordination across the continuum. Assesses and supports physical symptoms, provides psychological support to patients, friends, and families, mentors assigned team members, promotes best practices, and maintains professional disposition at all times.

Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

License/Certifications: Current Registered Nurse licensure by the State Board of Nursing in appropriate state (Illinois or Michigan), Current American Heart Association HealthCare Provider BLS is required prior to start date of employment.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Education: BSN
• Experience: Experience as an RN in a healthcare environment
• Other skills/knowledge: Electronic Medical Record and Microsoft application basic proficiency
