Job summary

Regional Health Services in Cresco, IA seeks a qualified RN responsible for all nursing care in the operating room, recovery room, and endoscopy, including pre-operative education. The position requires call time.

Ideal candidates will hold an Iowa RN license, have OR experience preferred, and be ACLS/PALS certified with BLS in hand or within 3 months of employment.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in State of Iowa.
• Previous experience as RN in most hospital nursing situations, including critical care. Operating Room experience is preferred.
• ACLS certified and PALS certified.
• High energy level with ability to work under stress and exhibit maturity, stability, and flexibility.
• Ability to work effectively and diplomatically with Medical Staff.
• BLS (CPR) certified or obtained within 3 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care of patients in the operating room, recovery room, and endoscopy.
• Provide pre-operative education andmanage call time as required.
