Job summary

OSF HealthCare is seeking a registered nurse to join its fast-paced surgical care team. The role focuses on care coordination, patient assessment and support across the continuum, collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary staff to deliver high-quality outcomes.

The ideal candidate holds active RN licensure in Illinois or Michigan, BLS certification, and BSN is preferred. EMR and Microsoft Office proficiency are also valued in a supportive, patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Required RN licensure by State Board of Nursing (Illinois or Michigan).
• Current American Heart Association HealthCare Provider BLS before start date.

Responsibilities

• Protects, promotes and restores health and wellness by practicing at the highest level of RN licensure, collaborating with providers and multidisciplinary care teams to provide care coordination across the continuum.
• Assess and support physical symptoms, provide psychological support to patients and families, mentor team members, promote best practices, and maintain professional disposition.

Pay range for this position is $37.05 - $54.54/hour. Actual pay is based on years of licensure. This is an Hourly position.

• $20,000 Sign-On Bonus (1+ years of experience)

Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• License/Certifications: Current Registered Nurse licensure by the State Board of Nursing in appropriate state (Illinois or Michigan), Current American Heart Association HealthCare Provider BLS is required prior to start date of employment.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Education: BSN
• Experience: Experience as an RN in a healthcare environment
• Other skills/knowledge: Electronic Medical Record and Microsoft application basic proficiency
