Core Dermatology is seeking a Surgical Registered Nurse to join our patient-first team on-site in Illinois. This full-time role involves procedural nursing, assisting surgeons, monitoring vitals, and documenting care.

The ideal candidate holds an Illinois RN license, has strong communication skills, and is committed to patient safety. 40-hour weeks with 10-hour shifts, typical start early morning hours, and opportunities for ongoing education.

Core Dermatology is seeking a Surgical Registered Nurse to join our patient-first focused team. This is a full-time position that will be on-site.

Responsibilities

As a Surgical Nurse at Core Dermatology, you will be an integral part of our healthcare team, dedicated to providing exceptional care to our Surgery patients.

Procedural care responsibilities will include

• Preparing patients for surgery under local anesthetic and ensuring their comfort and well-being.


• Assisting surgical team during procedures by providing necessary instruments and supplies.


• Monitoring patient’s vital signs and respond to any changes.


• Administering medications as directed by physicians.


• Collaborating with the surgical team to ensure smooth workflow and patient safety.


• Maintaining accurate documentation of patient care and procedures.


• Participating in ongoing education and training to stay updated on best practices and advancements in surgical nursing.

Hours

• 40 hours per week; 10-hour shifts


• 6:30am - 5:00pm

Requirements

• Valid RN license in the state of Illinois.


• Minimum of 3 years of experience in procedural or surgical nursing preferred but not required.


• Ability to work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team.


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


• Commitment to patient safety and high-quality care.

Salary Information

This is a Non-Exempt position. Pay will be based on years of experience and licensure date. The budgeted hourly pay range is $31.00-40.52.
