Job summary

Qualifications

  • Registered as an ARRT Radiologic Technologist.
  • Valid Ohio License as Radiographer.
  • Current Basic Life Support certification.
  • Ability to use radiographic equipment including mobile units and portable C-arm machines.
  • Willingness to learn new procedures and operate new equipment.
  • Ability to interact professionally with physicians, patients and coworkers.
  • Ability to stand, bend and lift for long periods.

Responsibilities

  • Perform radiographic examinations with fixed and portable equipment, including C-arms and surgery.
  • Maintain radiation safety for patients and staff.
  • Work under limited supervision with independent judgment.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, physicians and other staff.
  • Assist in other areas during low volume periods.
