Job summary

Major Hospital in Shelbyville, IN is seeking a surgical technician to assist with tracking and managing surgical supplies in the operating room. You will work under the OR Manager and coordinate with central sterile to pull cases 48 hours in advance.

Daily tasks include rotating stock, putting away truck, ordering inventory, putting away returns, dusting shelves, assisting with outdates, and running supplies to operating rooms.

Qualifications

• Surgical supply experience preferred
• High School Diploma required

Job description

Under the direction of the Operating Room Manager, works as a team member in assisting with keeping track of surgical supplies. Will work closely with central sterile in pulling cases 48 hours in advance. Assist in daily task determined by the manager including but not limited to other tasks: rotating stock, putting away truck, ordering inventory, putting away returns, dusting shelves, assisting with outdates, and running supplies to operating rooms daily.
