Job summary

Midland Memorial Hospital in Midland, TX is seeking a Part-Time Registered Nurse dedicated to patient safety. The RN will operate within legal scope of practice and hospital policies to provide comprehensive perioperative education and care to patients and families.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, perform thorough assessments, develop and implement care plans, and evaluate patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• BSN required; must commit to BSN program if not completed.
• Current Texas RN license required.
• ACLS and PALS certifications within 6 months of hire.
• BLS certification within 7 days of hire.
• Annual hospital-provided CE hours related to hip, knee, shoulder replacement and spine surgery.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the care of assigned patients.
• Complete comprehensive assessments and data interpretation.
• Synthesize data to identify problems and formulate goals and teaching plans.
• Implement the plan of care within legal, ethical, and regulatory parameters and delegate interventions as appropriate.
• Evaluate outcomes and coordinate follow-up care and referrals.
