Balance Health in Houston is seeking a Surgical Podiatrist to join our growing team and serve the community with exceptional care. This full-time role combines surgical practice with routine podiatric care and a patient-centered bedside manner.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of professional experience, a valid Texas podiatry license, ABFAS board certification, and the ability to manage records and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team. Competitive compensation and benefits are offered.

Competenze

• Minimum of three (3) years professional experience preferred.
• Current License as a Podiatrist in the State of Texas.
• Doctoral degree in Podiatric Medicine from an Accredited School of Podiatry.
• Board certification through the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery.
• Ability to observe, assess and record symptoms, reactions, and progress.

Mansioni

• Examine patients’ legs and feet to diagnose diseases.
• Treat bone, muscle, and joint disorders affecting the feet and ankles.
• Perform surgical procedures as necessary along with wound care management as needed.
• Diagnose diseases and deformities of the foot and ankle using medical histories, physical examinations, x‑rays, and laboratory test results.
• Prescribe medications, corrective devices, physical therapy, or surgery.
• Advise patients about treatments and foot and ankle care techniques necessary for prevention of future problems.
• Provide education/consultation to patients, family, and health care team.
• Provide health promotion and preventive medicine.
• Appropriately maintains medical records on assigned patients.
