Job summary

The Surgical Physician Assistant (PA) provides medical services within the scope of their education, training, and clinical experience, as delegated by the supervising physician.

Responsibilities include obtaining patient histories and performing physical examinations, ordering and/or performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, formulating diagnoses and developing treatment plans, implementing therapies, assisting in surgical procedures, and providing patient counseling and referrals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program preferred.
