Job summary

Lahey Hospital & Medical Center in Burlington, MA is seeking a full-time Surgical Pathologist to contribute to a dynamic environment. Board certification and/or subspecialty experience are significant plus.

The department handles over 37,000 surgical specimens at Burlington and 16,000 at Beverly annually, with subspecialty expertise across GI, Breast, Gynecologic, Cytopathology, and more. Competitive salary and excellent benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Board-certified AP or AP/CP pathologist with eligibility for Massachusetts medical license.
• Fellowship training in a subspecialty area (e.g., Genitourinary, Gynecologic, Head & Neck, Endocrine, Hematopathology, Molecular Pathology).
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative spirit.

Responsibilities

• Sign out general surgical biopsies and resections.
• Participate in autopsy and frozen section services.
• Provide services to other affiliated hospitals within the BILH system.
• Participate in various multidisciplinary conferences.

Skills

AP/AP-CP board-certified

Massachusetts license eligible
