Job summary

Rochester Regional Health in Rochester, NY seeks general surgical pathologists at Rochester General Hospital and Unity Hospital. Board-eligible or certified in Anatomic Pathology or Anatomic & Clinical Pathology is preferred.

Fellowship training in oncologic, cytopathology, head & neck, gynecologic, pulmonary/thoracic, or other subspecialties is preferred. Join a 24-pathologist Rochester-based group supporting a six-hospital system.

Qualifications

• Board-eligible or certified in Anatomic Pathology or Anatomic & Clinical Pathology (preferred).
• Fellowship training preferred in surgical pathology subspecialties (oncologic pathology, cytopathology, head & neck, gynecologic, pulmonary/thoracic, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Diagnose a wide variety of surgical and cytology cases across multiple subspecialties.
• Collaborate with Lipson Cancer Institute Hematology-Oncology colleagues to care for patients regionally.
• Participate in shared laboratory directorship responsibilities for regional acute care labs.
• Educate fellows, residents, and medical students and serve as an Instructor in local programs.
