Job summary

The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Assistant Professor position in the non-tenure academic clinician track.

Expertise is required in Surgical Pathology with a focus on Gastrointestinal, Head and Neck, Gynecologic or Breast Pathology. Candidates must have an MD/PhD or equivalent, ABP certification in Anatomic Pathology (AP/CP) and an unrestricted PA medical license or eligibility.

Qualifications

• MD/PhD or equivalent degree required.
• Anatomic Pathology (and/or AP/CP) certification from ABP or equivalent.
• Unrestricted PA medical license or eligibility.
• Subspecialty interests: GI, head and neck, gynecologic, or breast pathology.

Responsibilities

• Provide surgical pathology coverage with subspecialty interests.
• Participate in teaching residents, fellows, and medical students.
• Contribute to clinical service at Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.
