Job summary

Sonic Healthcare USA is seeking a full-time AP/CP Pathologist to join a two-person practice providing full coverage to Anna Jaques Regional Medical Center in Newburyport, Massachusetts. This position offers 20 hours per week with a focus on timely microscopic sign-outs and collaboration with the lab and referring physicians.

Qualified candidates include board-certified/board-eligible pathologists with a medical license in the state and up to several years of surgical pathology experience.

Qualifications

• AP/CP Board Certified (or Board Eligible).
• Minimum of 1–4 years of experience in surgical pathology, including fellowship training (if applicable).
• Eligible for medical licensure in the state of practice.
• Strong communication and organizational skills with attention to diagnostic detail.

Responsibilities

• Provide microscopic dictations and report sign-outs in a timely manner.
• Communicate effectively with laboratory staff and referring physicians regarding specimen handling and diagnostic issues.
• Participate in internal quality assurance activities and maintain compliance with laboratory policies and procedures.

Experienced pathologists andthose new in practiceare encouraged to apply.
