Job summary

Mercy Medical Group in the Sacramento area is seeking a Surgical Physician Assistant to join the Surgical Oncology and General Surgery teams. You will assist in diverse surgical procedures, provide perioperative care, and work with a team of experienced surgeons to deliver excellent patient care from pre-operative assessments through postoperative follow-up.

Ideal candidates will have an active California PA license and NCCPA certification, plus two years of OR experience.

Qualifications

• Two years working as a Physician Assistant with OR experience.
• Current and unrestricted California PA license.
• National certification (NCCPA)

Responsibilities

• Assist in a diverse range of surgical procedures.
• Provide pre-operative assessments and post-operative follow-up.
• Collaborate closely with surgeons to deliver high-quality patient care.
• Educate patients and families about treatment plans and outcomes.
