Job summary

North Memorial Health in Maple Grove is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join the OR team. The RN will assess, plan, implement and document perioperative care for surgical patients, ensuring safety and high-quality patient experiences.

Required qualifications include an Associate's degree in nursing (bachelor's preferred), MN RN license, BLS, and at least 3 years in an operating room setting. Evening shifts, competitive pay and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in nursing required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Current MN RN license and BLS certification.
• Minimum of 3 years RN experience in Operating Room.
• Strong communication and patient-care skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepares the OR suite for scheduled procedures with correct equipment and supplies.
• Assesses pre-operative status and develops an individualized plan of care.
• Collaborates with the health care team to provide perioperative care.
• Positions and prepares patients for procedures and documents intraoperative care.
• Communicates patient status to departments and staff; participates in safety timeouts.
• Adheres to infection control standards and promotes quality customer service.
