Job summary

Lakes Regional Healthcare in Spirit Lake, IA is seeking a Circulator Registered Nurse to deliver direct patient care in the surgical services setting for pediatric through geriatric patients.

Responsibilities include intraoperative communication with the surgeon and anesthetist, using the computer system for nursing tasks, and adapting to a rotating weekday, weekend and holiday call schedule. LRH offers a $5,000 sign-on bonus and PTO from day one.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in nursing.
• Six months RN experience preferred for operating room work.
• Current Iowa RN license.
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and Adult/Child Abuse Mandatory Reporting.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to pediatric through geriatric populations in the surgical environment.
• Communicate with surgeon and anesthetist continuously and as needed during intraoperative phase.
• Demonstrate knowledge and use of hospital computer systems to perform nursing responsibilities.
