Job summary

The RN will perform assessments, document care, and collaborate with the care team on the Medical-Surgical unit to ensure high-quality outcomes. Essential duties include plan-of-care interventions, medication administration, and patient education.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in state of practice.
• ACLS and PALS are required; BLS certification required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments and identify patient needs.
• Initiate nursing interventions and provide appropriate care.
• Document care timely and accurately in the medical record.
• Contribute to interdisciplinary care plans for each patient.
• Coordinate transfers, discharges, and referrals.
