Job summary

Banner MD Anderson Cancer Center in Arizona seeks an Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) to join the Surgical Oncology team at the University Campus in Phoenix and Gateway Campus in Gilbert. In this role you will deliver inpatient and outpatient clinical care, collaborate in multidisciplinary teams, and support Colorectal and Hepatobiliary specialties.

The ideal candidate is board certified, with surgical oncology experience (RNFA for NP or equivalent for PA) and is committed to evidence-based

Qualifications

• Board-certified NP/PA with surgical oncology focus.
• NP must be RNFA or PA with surgical experience.
• Licensed to practice in Arizona.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient and outpatient clinical services in surgical oncology.
• Assist in operating room and participate in multidisciplinary care.
• Provide patient education and follow-up in Banner MD Anderson Cancer Center.

The Division of SurgicalOncology at Banner MD Anderson Cancer Center continues to experience rapid growth. As part of this growth, we are recruiting Advanced Practice Providers to provide inpatient and outpatient clinical services at the Banner MD Anderson Cancer Center.

Excellent opportunity for dynamic Nurse Practitioner orPhysician Assistant to join our Surgical Oncology team, to additionally support Colorectal and Hepatobiliary Surgical Oncology specialties. Qualified candidate is required to be board certified and is expected to provide compassionate, evidence-based and multidisciplinary care to cancer patients.Our NP/PA is expected to be an active member of the Division and participate in clinical, research and education services provided by Banner MD Anderson Center (BMDACC) at the University Campus in Phoenix, Arizona andGateway Campus in Gilbert, Arizona.

• SFA training required, as our APPwill support the team in all settings: inpatient, outpatient, and the OR


• NP with RNFA required


• PA with Surgical Experience


• M-F | 8-5 |Call 1:8 weeks


• Equal split between Banner Gateway and Banner University-Phoenix locations
