North Mississippi Health Services, Inc. seeks a Surgical Nurse Practitioner to assess, diagnose, and treat surgical patients under physician supervision in a Tier 2 trauma setting. The role involves on-call night and weekend rotations, wound closure assistance, and post-op rounds.

You will educate patients and families, document thoroughly, and stay current with trauma care protocols and guidelines to ensure high-quality outcomes.

Formación

• Assess, diagnose and treat surgical patients per board scope and approved protocols.
• Provide education to patients and families about disease, treatment, and recovery.
• Maintain HIPAA confidentiality and accurate medical documentation.

Responsabilidades

• Assess, diagnose, and treat surgical patients according to protocols.
• Remain on call and rotate nights, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Assist in operating room for wound closure and procedures.
• Provide post-op rounds and follow-ups in clinic or ER settings.
• Document treatments, procedures and medications with accuracy.
• Interpret xrays, CTs, MRIs and lab results for care decisions.
