Prisma Health in Greenville, SC seeks a Physician Assistant to provide assistant surgical services in the operating room under the surgeon's direction, including ENT procedures.

You will assist with prepping, completing procedures, postoperative rounds, and documentation. NCCPA certification, PA license, and BLS are required. Hospital-based role with opportunities for professional growth.

Formación

• Physician Assistant degree or certificate equivalent.
• NCCPA certification and active PA licensure in the state of work.
• BLS certification.

Responsabilidades

• Provide assistant surgical services in the operating room under surgeon direction.
• Assist with prepping and completing procedures, including documentation.
• Remove drains, tubes and catheters as needed.
• Close incisions following the procedure.
• Assist with patient visits and participate in on-call duties when assigned.
• Complete all charting, summaries and billing documentation.
• Participate in physician educational programs related to capitated medicine and practice patterns.
• Participate in QA programs and revenue optimization initiatives.
• Postoperative care including rounds and wound assessments.

Physician Assistant Program or Program Certificate equivalent
