Job summary

Providence Health and Services is hiring a Medical Assistant (MA II) to work under the delegation of a licensed practitioner, performing duties to support patient care for assigned patients. The MA II will handle clinical tasks and operate in accordance with established policies and regulations.

This role requires completion of accredited medical assisting training or an MA apprenticeship, with BLS from the American Heart Association within 30 days of hire and at least six months of healthcare

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school with hands-on clinical medical assisting training.
• Graduate of a registered medical assistant apprenticeship program.
• Has completed two years of medical training in the US Armed Forces or at least one year MA experience including vital signs, injections, medication administration.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire
• 6 months healthcare experience.
• 6 months Medical Assistant experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist in patient care under the delegation of a licensed practitioner.
• Perform clinical tasks and duties as directed to support assigned clinic.
• Uphold established policies, procedures, and regulations.

Education
