Job summary

Agiliti Health, Inc. in Baltimore County is seeking a Laser Technician I to support surgical teams by testing, cleaning, and sterilizing equipment before procedures and remaining in the operating room as needed.

You will transport and position instruments, report defects, and help ensure equipment readiness throughout surgeries. The role requires a high school diploma and a valid driver's license, with on-site work in Hanover, MD.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior medical, EMT, Surgical Technologist, or military experience preferred.
• Must hold a current, valid, and unrestricted driver's license. Must have a safe driving record based on Agiliti policies.
• Must be able to lift up to eighty pounds and push or pull up to one hundred pounds.
• Must be able to stand and/or sit for long periods of time as well as being able to bend and reach repeatedly.

Responsibilities

• Tests, cleans, and sterilizes equipment in operating room prior to procedures.
• Present in operating room during procedures; level of involvement in procedure is subject to physician demands.
• Removes, cleans, disinfects, and sterilizes all surgical equipment after procedures.
• Ensures operational excellence of all vehicles and equipment by communicating defects or necessary maintenance to key stakeholders in a timely manner.
• Transports equipment to ensure that it is in the right place at the right time for necessary procedures.
