Agiliti, a nationwide medical equipment management company, is hiring Laser Technician I in Illinois. Primary job location is Rockford District/COE with additional locations in Beloit, Madison, and Milwaukee.

Pay range listed is $15.84 - $24.21 hourly, with pay details and incentives depending on location and experience. Role involves sterilizing equipment, appearing in the OR as needed, transporting gear, and communicating maintenance needs to stakeholders to ensure readiness for procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior medical, EMT, Surgical Technologist, or military experience preferred.
• Must hold a current, valid, and unrestricted driver's license with a safe driving record.
• Must be able to lift up to 80 pounds and push or pull up to 100 pounds.
• Able to stand or sit for long periods and repeatedly bend/reach; frequent bending, stooping, twisting, climbing, crouching, kneeling or crawling.

Responsibilities

• Tests, cleans, and sterilizes equipment in operating room prior to procedures.
• Present in operating room during procedures; level of involvement in procedure is subject to physician demands.
• Removes, cleans, disinfects, and sterilizes all surgical equipment after procedures.
• Ensures operational excellence of all vehicles and equipment by communicating defects or necessary maintenance to key stakeholders in a timely manner.
• Transports equipment to ensure that it is in the right place at the right time for necessary procedures.

Surgical Laser Technicians maintain a professional relationship with all physicians, hospital staff, physicians' office staff and other personnel both in appearance and behavior. A Technician's role is to make sure equipment is working and ready for use before, during, and after each surgery.

What You Will Do in This Role

• Tests, cleans, and sterilizes equipment in operating room prior to procedures.

What You Will Need for This Role
